Routine ACS Net Procedure
"This is <your call>. An Emergency Services net will be conducted on this frequency in five minutes. The cooperation of all amateurs for the duration of this net to commence at 1900 hours will be greatly appreciated. This is <your call>".
"This is <your name>, <your call>, Net Controller for this evening's Burbank Emergency Amateur Radio Service NET. The repeater will be returned to normal service following the conclusion of this net in approximately 15 minutes. The cooperation of all non-participating amateurs during this period will be greatly appreciated. The NET is being conducted on 446.86 MHz with minus offset and a PL of 123.0Hz. Before we begin, is there any emergency traffic?" (pause 5 seconds)
"This concludes the regularly scheduled BEARS Net".

"Please switch to 145.540 MHz Simplex to participate in the Crescenta Valley DCS Net at 1930 hrs."

For the Net check-in, the operator my use either the updatable, Excel version or the viewable-only HTML version of the NET Check-in Roster. After completing the Net, please e-mail the list of members that checked in and number of hours each, plus the total number of hours and members that checked in, to these two addresses:KG6FXS & W6RJP.
The Crescenta Valley DCS Net is conducted on 145.540 Simplex at 1930 Hours.
They will role call for District 12 members and then District 12 Stations. When they call "Station 12A Burbank", you may identify as Station 12A, and then report the total number of operators and number of hours to the CVS Net Control Operator.
