our next quarterly training will be held on Saturday, 
May 3 from 0800 to 1400 hours at the CEOC.  In addition 
to new member training we will be offering a class in 
Reporting Emergencies and a Net Control Class and Drill 
from 0830 to 1230 hours.  Both continuing education 
classes are offered on a first come first served basis.

The next Tri-City Plus meeting will be on April 1 at 
1900 hours.  The meeting will be at Crescenta Valley 
Station.
 
The Tri-City Plus meetings are a discussion and planning 
forum for emergency communications leaders from 
Burbank, Glendale, San Fernando, and other District 12 
cities and communities.  All interested amateur 
emergency communicators who live or work in this area 
are also invited to attend.

On Saturday, April 12th, there will be a community 
emergency preparedness expo at Verdugo Hills Hospital 
from 1000 to 1500 hours.  DCS will help to host Crescenta 
Valley Station’s mobile command post.  This will be an 
opportunity for DCS members to demonstrate amateur 
radio and talk with the visitors.  Many other agencies 
will have emergency equipment on display.  Please plan 
to attend all or part of this event, if possible in 
your DCS or city uniform.

two during the event, please contact Gene Roske by
