The Quarterly Training date scheduled for May 2, 2009 has been postponed
to May 30, 2009. This change has been made so that DCS can provide
logistical communications at the upcoming CERT Refresher on Saturday,
May 2, 2009 at the Fairplex in Pomona. On May 30th there will be a
training session for District Staff (02’s, 03’s, 04’s and 05’s) from 0900 to
1100 hours. This is informative training which will not only inform the District
Staff of their duties and responsibilities but also those of the DCO. In
addition, there will be a refresher course for those members that did not
meet the minimum hours requirement for 2008. This refresher class will be
held from 0830--1200 hours. If you have any questions, please contact
either Staff 10 (staff10@lacdcs.com) or Staff 11 (kd6khj@verizon.com) for
