At last month’s BFCP meeting new Fire Corps T- Shirts were
issued these are our new uniform shirts for responses until the new polo
shirts are issued all CDV/BEARS shirts are now obsolete.

Curt Kaplan from Skywarn will be our guest speaker at the next
BFCP ACS meeting on Wednesday, 10th March at 7.00pm.

At this months general Burbank Fire Corps meeting, Wednesday,
March 17th, the topic will be message handling/communications.
The Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliary Communications Service is responsible
for training general Fire Corps members on radio communications
procedures. Please be there.

Burbank Fire Corps new ID exchange has been delayed due to problems
with City computer system. Your existing CDV/BEARS ID is still valid.
You will be notified when the new IDs are available.

The next Burbank Fire Corps Community Emergency Response Team
Tower begins on Saturday March 13th. Please tell all your friends and
neighbors and for those ACS members if have not taken this training
course... think about it, it’s very informative.

Everyone should monitor the Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliary Communication
Service (ACS) repeaters on a daily basis: 446.860 -- now identified as “ALPHA” -- along with
N6MQS 448.540 -- now identified as “BRAVO."

Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliary Communication Service (ACS) Net Control
Operators are needed, as a member of the Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliar
Communication Service (ACS) we ask that all our members at least
ONCE A YEAR be a Net control Operator.

On Monday March 8th Rob Powell and Alex McGregor will be conducting
the Net from the Burbank EOC, please join them to see how it’s done.
