Thanks to all the ACS Members who turned up at the last general BFCP
meeting last Wednesday, everyone had a great time.

Everyone should monitor the Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliary Communication
Service (ACS) repeaters 446.860, now identified as “ALPHA,” along with
N6MQS 448.540, now identified as “BRAVO”, on a daily basis.

Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliary Communication Service (ACS) Net Control
Operators are needed, as a member of the Burbank Fire Corps Auxiliary
Communication Service (ACS) we ask that all our members at least ONCE
A YEAR be a Net control Operator.

Saturday April 10 is Burbank on Parade. We need as many volunteers

It’s not to late to join up for the upcoming Baker to Vegas Run. For those

The Parent Teacher Association for R.L. Stevenson Elementary School is
conducting a free Emergency Preparedness Seminar on Monday, March 29,
2010 from 7 pm to 8 pm. The presenters will be Eric Christensen (K6EJC)
Burbank Fire Corps ACS; Eric Baumgardner Burbank Fire Corps; Norm
Goodkin (K6YXH) Disaster Communications Service; and the American
Red Cross. The address is 3333 W. Oak Street, Burbank, CA. The PTA
will provide free babysitting for this event. We ask that you please RSVP
to Sandi Shearer (KJ6CKX) at sandirae67@yahoo.com.
